Nearby attractions include Australia Zoo, Noosa everglades, World Heritage listed Fraser Island, Hinterland rainforests , skydiving, jetskis, golf, and fishing. The (unofficial) nude beach at Alexander Bay is one of the most popular gay meeting places on the Sunshine Coast.
Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) is only about 15mins from Horizons and Brisbane International Airport about 80 mins by coach or car.

Horizons offers three room types 2/3 bedroom oceanview penthouses, 2/3 bedroom garden and mid level apartments. All are self contained with linen supplied and fully equipted kitchens.
